Sacrament of Confirmation for CTKIS Students | 2026

Christ the King International School witnessed a moment of deep spiritual significance as thirty-seven (37) students received the Sacrament of Confirmation on Wednesday, 25th March 2026 at the Christ the King Catholic Church. The sacred ceremony marked an important milestone in the faith journey of the candidates, strengthening them in their commitment to Christian values and discipleship.

The Sacrament was administered by the Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra, Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie, CSSp, whose presence added great solemnity and honour to the celebration. In his address to the candidates, the Archbishop encouraged them to remain steadfast in their faith, to be courageous witnesses of Christ, and to allow the gifts of the Holy Spirit to guide their daily lives, both in school and beyond.

The Confirmation ceremony was attended by parents, guardians, staff, and members of the parish community, all gathered to support and celebrate the candidates on this special occasion. The atmosphere was filled with reverence, joy, and thanksgiving as the students publicly affirmed their faith and received the strengthening grace of the Holy Spirit.

As a Catholic institution, Christ the King International School remains committed to nurturing the spiritual growth of its learners alongside their academic development. The administration of the Sacrament of Confirmation to these students reflects the school’s dedication to forming young individuals who are not only intellectually capable but also spiritually grounded and morally responsible.

The school community expresses heartfelt gratitude to Most Rev. John Bonaventure Kwofie, CSSp for his fatherly guidance and for administering the Sacrament to the students. Appreciation is also extended to the parish priests, catechists, parents, and teachers whose dedication and preparation made this memorable celebration possible.

We congratulate the newly confirmed students and pray that the Holy Spirit continues to guide and strengthen them in faith, wisdom, and service to others.
